Abilitree has a Work Incentives Coordinator on staff to help the client understand how Social Security benefits, food stamps, housing assistance and medical benefits can be affected when returning to work.
Housing
Abilitree maintains a comprehensive listing of housing in the tri-county area. We also maintain a list of people who wish to be notified when the Section 8 list opens. Ask to be placed on our list; email notification is preferred. If the client does not have email, a phone number or address is sufficient.
Medical professionals
Abilitree works alongside with and makes referrals to medical professionals in the tri-county area.
Schools and Colleges
Abilitree makes referrals to the community college and the University of the Client’s Choice. We actively collaborate with COCC’s Disability
